Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Aura Match. By creating an account you accept them. In a dating app half the rules exist to protect other people — we would particularly like you to read that section.

1. Who we are

Throughout this text "we" means that party and "you" means the person using the app.

2. Who may use it

• You must be 18 or over. There are no exceptions, and the check runs both in the app and on the server.
• You must use your own identity and your own photographs.
• If your account has been closed before, you may not open a new one.
• People convicted of a sexual offence may not use this service.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account. Do not share your password; tell us if you think someone else has reached your account. You may not transfer, sell or rent your account.

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Settings → Delete my account. What deletion leaves behind is set out item by item in section 7 of the Privacy Policy.

4. Community rules

The following are prohibited. This is not a list of suggestions — it is the list of reasons an account gets closed:

• Pretending to be someone else. Photographs that are not yours, an invented identity, a false age.
• Harassment, threats, hate speech. Including abuse based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
• Sending sexual imagery or putting it on your profile. Whether or not the other person asked: there is no explicit imagery in this app.
• Any content involving minors. This goes beyond account closure and creates reporting obligations.
• Commercial use. Advertising, selling, fundraising, driving people to other platforms.
• Fraud. Asking for money, investment advice, crypto schemes, "emergency" stories.
• Publishing someone else's private information or sharing conversations from the app without permission.
• Automated use. Bots, scraping, bulk account creation, reverse engineering or modifying the app.

When you see a rule being broken

Every profile and every conversation carries report and block. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content or close accounts where needed. In an urgent case, write directly to support@auramatchapp.com.

5. Your content

The photographs you upload and everything you write remain yours. We take no ownership of them. You grant only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, show it to other users, and screen it for safety. That permission ends when you delete the content or close your account.

You confirm that the content you upload is yours and does not infringe anyone else's rights. If another person appears in a photograph, they must have agreed to it.

Every uploaded photograph is screened before it appears. We may refuse a photograph, remove it, or close an account for repeated violations. You may contest a decision and ask for a human review.

6. About the aura reading

An aura is a colour signature computed from the colours in your photograph. It is a playful and aesthetic way to match people; it is not a personality test, a psychological assessment, a health indicator or fortune telling. We make no claim that a reading is "correct" and we do not suggest you make life decisions based on one.

We do not promise that matching will lead anywhere, or that the people you are shown will be suitable or honest. We do not verify the identity of the people you meet — be careful on first dates: meet somewhere public and tell someone where you are going.

7. Subscriptions and payment

The core of the app is free. An Aura Match+ subscription adds features.

• All payments are taken through the App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. To turn renewal off, use the subscription settings of your store account — it is technically impossible for us to do it for you.
• Refunds follow the store's own rules and are handled by the store.
• We may change prices. Changes are announced before they take effect and the old price applies until the end of your current period.

If you live in the European Union, your 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content applies; where you ask for the service to start immediately, the scope of that right follows the applicable law. Consumer rights under Turkish law are likewise reserved.

8. Availability

We may take reasonable steps to improve, change or remove a feature. If we discontinue the service entirely we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to retrieve your data.

We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, faults and technical necessity may cause temporary outages.

9. Closing an account

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms. For serious breaches — particularly the prohibitions in section 4 — this happens without prior warning. You can contest a closure at support@auramatchapp.com.

If your account is closed while you hold a paid subscription and you have not broken the rules, the unused portion is refunded.

10. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, or the conduct of people you meet through the app.

These limits do not apply to liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or in any case where consumer law does not permit them to be excluded.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Turkish law, and the competent courts are to be determined have jurisdiction.

As a consumer you keep the rights granted to you by the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, which cannot be set aside by contract, including the right to bring proceedings in that country's courts.

12. For the version obtained through the Apple App Store

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, the following terms required by Apple also apply:

• This agreement is between you and us; Apple is not a party to it.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for maintenance and support of the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any warranty, Apple may refund the purchase price; beyond that Apple has no warranty obligation whatsoever.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing claims relating to product liability, consumer protection and intellectual property infringement.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US embargo and that you are not on any US list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and have the right to enforce it against you.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. For significant changes we notify you in the app and ask for your agreement again where it is needed. The version at the top of this page shows which text applies.
